I build web applications, and finish the ones already started.
Full-stack development, AI, server setup, and migrations for founders, agencies, and teams: new features, integrations, debugging, and deployment — whether we're starting from an empty repository, an existing codebase, or a live production system.

App Store release, website and database fixes for an archery ballistics product. Took the app through App Store deployment, built the website, and fixed Supabase database issues.

- Django
- Django REST Framework

- PostgreSQL
- Celery
- WebSockets
- Docker Compose
Property management platform with nested properties and units, a transaction ledger, PDF invoices, real-time notifications over WebSockets, and a maintenance workflow enforced as a state machine. Runs as one Docker Compose stack.
Moved a production Laravel marketplace from an old VPS to a new Docker Compose server: application, MySQL database, uploaded media, scheduled jobs, and the domain cutover with SSL.
Photo-based parts search that returns a price-sorted list of matching listings. Added authentication, reworked the search logic that pulls results from eBay and SerpApi, fixed a Supabase issue, rebranded the app, and deployed it to Vercel.
Multi-vendor B2B marketplace on Laravel 12 with buyer, seller and admin roles, stock and order handling, automatic commission calculation, and a Docker and Nginx setup.
Self-hosted Supabase platform. Creating a project in the interface starts a new Supabase instance on the server. Worked on the full system: interface and server-side provisioning.
Services
Full-stack development
New features or whole products: interface, API routes, data models, and the wiring between them. Built to fit the codebase already there.
Server setup and migrations
Setting up production servers with Docker, Nginx and backups, and moving live applications to new ones: code, database, media, environment, domain and SSL.
Debugging and stabilising
Tracing a fault to its actual cause and fixing it properly, so it stops coming back.
API and AI integrations
Connecting payments, auth, email, LLM APIs, or agent workflows, including the error paths, not just the happy one.
Deployment and handover
CI/CD pipelines, environments, builds and releases, plus documentation someone else can follow.
Process

Scope and plan
I read the existing code or system before quoting, then send a written plan with risks.
Step 1 of 4 - 02
Build
Small changes you can review as they land.
Step 2 of 4 - 03
Test and ship
Tested on real devices, deployed with recorded release steps.
Step 3 of 4 - 04
Hand over
Documentation and a walkthrough, so anyone can continue the work.

About
I'm Tan Farhan, a freelance full-stack developer. I'd say I work across the frontend, backend, and deployment like building new applications, adding features to existing ones, integrating APIs, setting up servers, moving live applications to new hosts, and tracking down the problem that is keeping a project stuck.
I mainly start by understanding the problem. Then I make necessary changes based on the work in a way that it's clean and maintainable, and leave the project in a state that the next person can work on with confidence. That applies from the first look at a codebase to the final deployment.
Outside work I'm too deep into tech, watched more anime than I can count, and I play a lot of AAA and FPS games, mostly Valorant.
